We were doing a major house rennovation and needed a completley new heating system.  We decided to go with a heat pump. We went via Heatgeek and were matched with James from JLD.  The whole process has been really impressive.  We had little knowledge and James has supported us through the design and installation.  Our builders had previous experience of heat pump installations, and said JLD's was the most impressive they'd seen.  I would definitely recommend JLD.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. James and his colleague John worked non-stop to get our Heatpump installed and we couldn't be happier. From the first time James came and did the heat loss report through Heat Geek, it was clear they had the experience we needed to get the right installation. We had been given a much higher heat loss calculation by another supplier and would have ended up paying more to run it, plus it was so much quicker than other surveys. They were also able to use all our existing radiators and although we got a new water tank it went in the same place as the old one.
We had them pressurise our hot water too, and it is amazing. It used to take 15 minutes to fill the bath, now it takes no time at all.
They were on time, polite, hard working and cleaned up after themselves. They used an electrician called Chris who was great too. I definitely want James to come back to service the ASHP and I would recommend JLD Gas to anyone.

This man really knows what he’s doing! Couldn’t have asked for a more professional, efficient and hassle-free boiler replacement.

Jay was brilliant from start to finish. He was honest with his advice and guidance, explained everything clearly and just cracked on with the job. He worked non-stop all day.

He made minimal mess while doing the work and, even then, cleaned everything up before he left. He carried out thorough checks to make sure everything was working as it should, and even registered the boiler for me — genuinely going above and beyond.

You can tell he takes real pride in his work, and it definitely shows. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jay to anyone. Absolutely spot-on service from start to finish.

10/10 — couldn’t fault him. Thanks again, Jay! 👏
